Support for your body through pregnancy—and after.

From pelvic and back discomfort to postpartum recovery, we help you understand what’s changing and how to move through it with confidence.

During pregnancy, your body is constantly adapting—
sometimes smoothly, sometimes with discomfort that doesn’t quite make sense.

And after delivery, your body continues to adapt—often while you’re lifting, feeding, and caring for your baby.

Care during this time focuses on helping your body stay balanced and supported as those changes happen.

Dr. Jenks is certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), a specialized approach focused on pelvic balance and alignment during pregnancy.

This approach is designed to reduce tension and asymmetry in the pelvis, supporting more comfortable movement and better overall function as your pregnancy progresses.

Postpartum

Pregnancy brings big changes—and new physical demands.
We often see moms navigating discomfort while trying to stay active and prepare for birth.

Expecting mothers often seek care for:

  • Migraines or pregnancy-related headaches
  • Round ligament pressure, tension, and pain
  • Preparing the body for labor and delivery
  • Low back, hip, or pelvic discomfort
  • Rib, mid-back, or shoulder tension
  • Jaw tightness/pain or TMJ discomfort
  • Alignment support as the body grows and shifts
  • Maintaining mobility and ease in daily movement

After delivery, your body is still adapting and recovering.
Postpartum care often focuses on restoring comfort, movement, and stability.

Postpartum mothers often visit for support with:

  • Pelvic or low back discomfort after delivery
  • Migraines or postpartum-related headaches
  • Hip, rib, or mid-back tightness
  • Neck and shoulder strain from feeding or holding baby
  • Jaw tension or TMJ discomfort from clenching or stress
  • Core strength and pelvic alignment as ligaments stabilize.

Treatment Recommendations

A pregnant woman sitting on a medicine ball with arms extended.

A good rule of thumb is to seek prenatal chiropractic care 1x/month if you're not dealing with severe pain or discomfort.

Typical treatment frequency:

1st TRIMESTER   1x/MONTH

2nd TRIMESTER  1x/MONTH

3rd TRIMESTER   2x/MONTH

LAST MONTH      1x/WEEK

What Moms Are Saying

“My family has been seeing her for 7 years, and we showed up in rough shape (I had a postpartum issue causing both my arms to go completely numb when I held my 4 month old baby). We will probably never stop bragging on how quickly she helped our family (my husband has seen her and experienced fast and thorough relief for headaches that he'd had daily for many years).”

“Celeste is incredibly attentive and thorough with her adjustments. My pain has been so much more manageable since coming here. I also saw her weekly throughout my pregnancy and was very comfortable because of that. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a chiropractor.”
